State Duma approves Manturov for deputy PM post

MOSCOW, Jul 15 (PRIME) -- The State Duma, parliament's lower chamber, approved nominee to the post of deputy prime minister Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov on Friday.

President Vladimir Putin earlier signed a decree by virtue of which the number of deputy prime ministers in the Russian government will rise to 11 from 10, and the position of a deputy prime minister – industry and trade minister will be introduced.

After that, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin nominated Manturov for the post.
